Andrew "Drew" Dennett, MSW, ASW, is an Associate Clinical Social Worker (ASW 115630), registered to the California Board of Behavioral Sciences, providing individual, couple, and family psychotherapy under the supervision of Leor Ram, LMFT (115538), LPCC (7354), NCC, CGP at Integrative Psychotherapy Group. Drew received his undergraduate degree from California State University, Northridge. He received his MSW from the University of Southern California (USC) Dworack-Peck School of Social Work. During his tenure at USC, Drew completed two rigorous practicums, with the latter experience involving comprehensive therapy services at a dual-diagnosis addiction treatment center located in Los Angeles. Presently, Drew is enhancing his skills through advanced training in hypnotherapy.
Drew's approach to therapy is characterized by a mixture of directness, playfulness, engagement, nurturance, and a focus on the client. He integrates depth-oriented and relational frameworks, enriching his therapeutic methods with a variety of modalities to foster change in his clients. It is Drew's belief that exploring unconscious processes while simultaneously working toward improving one's present lived experience leads to wholeness.
Drew enjoys working with individuals who are addressing addictive disorders (e.g., substance use, eating disorders, and other behavioral addictions), childhood trauma, relationship challenges, family conflicts, codependency, spirituality, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, anger, grief, and transitions through various life stages. His objective is to provide a collaborative and inventive environment, meeting clients at their current stage and progressing together toward healing.
